Buzz Lightyear Pizza Planet at Disneyland Paris

Whilst we were at Disneyland Paris in December we had lunch at Buzz Lightyear's Pizza Planet. having never been before we took the opportunity to eat there as this restaurant is only open at certain peak times. I can imagine that it may also have a refurb soon. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten track towards the very back of Discoveryland.

The restaurant had the appearance of a large warehouse almost as if the whole place was very temporary and the contents could be removed and replaced by something else very quickly! I wonder if it will be? It didn't feel like it had much atmosphere or Disney magic but the kids loved it and it was warm, dry and very spacious inside.

The restaurant is buffet and guests pay at the tills on entry. Quick payment threw us all enough to forget to use our annual pass discounts! Once in the restaurant all drinks, salad, pizza, pasta and puddings were included in the price. The food was pretty uninspiring, the pizza had very basic toppings and it was fairly standard fast food quality (with paper plates to match) but there was plenty of it.

For us the experience was, however, totally worth it as the kids spent a good half hour plus playing in the small Toy Story soft play. They really welcomed the chance to run around after the queues of the rest of the park. We welcomed the break too. The soft play is fun for younger kids and well themed, it is easy to watch from the tables too.

Despite all the efforts made to theme the restaurant it is so big that it can't escape its warehouse appearance. The kids didn't seem to mind though and we all left feeling full and ready to face the parks again.

Adult buffet cost 20 Euros and child buffet cost 12 Euros each including soft drinks.

Hope you enjoyed this mini review and restaurant tour!
