Wordless Wednesday: A trip in the Nautilus at Disneyland Paris

This week's Wordless Wednesday theme is 'Movie Magic'. On my trips to Disneyland Paris I have a fond place for 'Les Mysteres du Nautilus', an attraction at Disneyland Paris which is based on the Jules Verne Novel and the later movie, 2000 Leagues Under the Sea. In this attraction visitors go for a trip in the depths of the ocean through the detailed rooms of the Nautilus Submarine, they are dark and mysterious and who knows what creatures make lurk in the waters! Visitors need to experience the walk through attraction for themselves to find out! The good news- there never seems to be a queue for this attraction!

Do check this attraction out if you visit Disneyland Paris as I love the atmosphere down in the depths, it evokes a great Victorian/Steam Punk feel and is a fun diversion for a few minutes. With thanks to Deb at www.focusedonthemagic.com, visit the site to see other Wordless Wednesday posts.

  1. I miss the WDW 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea attraction that took guests on a submarine ride. I was so sad when they paved over the lagoon to make Ariel's Grotto. I look forward to one day experiencing Les Mysteres du Nautilus. It sounds wonderful!! Thanks for sharing!

    1. Thanks Deb, I love the details in it and as a underated walk through I think it is a bit of a hidden gem. Disney is all about the details for me.

  2. That looks like a really near attraction!! Even though I'm not a fan of water, or close in feeling spaces, I think that's one I'd like to try!

    1. Yes, it is a clever attraction and a bit of an illusion, I don't think that you get very close to any actual water 😉. It doesn't take long to walk through so hopefully you would be fine.
